Girl Scouts - As You Wish

The girls went to As You Wish on Saturday to earn their Ceramics badge. They also got a decorative As You Wish badge to put on the back of their sash:
This is the first thing Keeley wanted to do with her clay was pound it with her elbow! The girls were encouraged to play with the clay in order to understand the consistency. They were allowed to pound it, tear it, knead it, or form it in whatever fashion they wanted to.
Then, they were instructed to make a ball with the clay. Not just any ball, but a perfect ball, with no cracks or spaces. It needed to be perfectly smooth. They had bowls of water to use to keep the clay soft and pliable. It didn't take long for the paper to get wet and messy, as well as the girls' hands!
