Girl Scouts at the Phoenix Zoo

Keeley fresh and excited. We had just learned about animals in the wild v. animals that have been domesticated. We were on our way to see the constellations at the planetarium.
Keeley now bored and tired...why do we have to do all of Brook's things first???
Watching the Mandrill's being fed. Very interesting. Spock, the dominant male, didn't want the two girls eating any of their snack!

Finally! Learning about composting and conserving energy at the Daisy station!!!
Keeley earned her Green Petal and Rose Petal for Discover, Connect, & Take Action:
· Discover how the Zoo uses resources wisely on Harmony Farm.
· Make signs to hang up at home to remind them to conserve natural resources.
· Plant native clover to take home.
· Explore the Worm Bin and learn why worms are important.

Don't you love the way she cuts with scissors???
She was so tired, she couldn't keep up with us. I was so tired, I wanted to get outta there!
African Elephant bones...Keeley was intrigued.
