Keeley Reading from The Bible Animal Storybook

Keeley brought this book home from Grandma's in Portland a couple weeks ago and hasn't put it down. I am so amazed at how she can just sit and read so I just had to get it on video...enjoy...(oh, we had to do this in pieces because one video is too large to load here)...

Skateland, Here we come!

Keeley's first time skating. I really thought it would be easier for her than ice skating but she struggled a bit. We didn't have a walker to help her! I think we'll do better next time.

We did the chicken dance at the skating rink, but I didn't take video because we were all out there. So, for your viewing pleasure, a chicken dance just for you...

After skating, we went for what we thought was Ben & Jerry's ice cream...too bad the place closed a year ago! In its place was a Gelato shop. Keeley had Chocolate and Watermelon and while we were blending the names (waterolate, chocomelon, etc), Keeley said "Oh, I have a melon freeze"...then she explained, "you know, your head can sometimes be called a melon"...I was in shock; where in the world did she learn that? Such a little sponge!

Keeley Dancing to "Baby Baby"...such a goof!

Keeley's Tea Party

Keeley set a beautiful table for her tea party today...we just didn't get around to finishing setting the table. I love her name cards!

Keeley's Ice Skating Adventures

First, we did a little skating...

then a little swimming! Cold and Hot all in the same day...only in Phoenix!

The Shoelace Blues...

Keeley got a little frustrated while I was teaching her to tie her shoes, so while she was in her room crying, I found this blues song on the internet...that got her to loosen up so she could practice again...viola!

My Shoelace Blues
I've tried and tried to tie you, shoe.
I've never done it yet.
A loop that flip-flops on the floor
Is as close as I can get.
I've practiced on spaghetti.
I've practiced on the mop.
I've practiced on my sister
Until she made me stop.
So here's the loop again, shoe.
I'll hold it with my thumb.
I'll wrap the other end around...
And yank it into bows.
It's done!

Look Dad...I can tie my shoe!!!
